We are thrilled to welcome you to our stunning venue, Castello di Ristonchi, nestled in the heart of Tuscany, Italy! Ristonchi Castle is a rustic, 1,000-year-old medieval castle surrounded by beautiful olive groves, chestnut forests, and wild edibles. It’s not your typical hotel—it’s a CASTLE!

While daily maid service isn't provided, all essentials such as clean sheets, towels, pillows, blankets, toilet paper, soap, and shampoo will be supplied. The furnishings embrace classic Tuscan style, and some bathrooms have unique quirks and compact layouts, adding to the charm of staying in a historic castle! Mornings here truly feel like waking up in Tuscany.

The castle has heating for winter months but does not have air conditioning. However, the thick stone walls and cool mountain breeze should keep you comfortable. Alternatively, enjoy a refreshing dip in the fresh mountain spring pool!

Limited paid laundry services and steaming for wedding attire are available. Additionally, there is a bar and a small shop offering coffee, drinks, ice cream, and snacks.

We would love for all our guests to join us in staying at Castello di Ristonchi for the full three nights of our wedding celebration. Accommodations at the Castello are provided as our treat to all guests.

The castle features 30 charming apartments ranging from studios to two-bedroom units, each with a private bathroom and most including a mini kitchen. As guests RSVP, we’ll assign rooms thoughtfully, likely pairing you in suites with friends or other guests you know. Some apartments, particularly in the tower, have stairs but offer spectacular views!

Of course! If you prefer staying off-property, please let us know your plans. There are nearby villas within a 15-minute drive, or you may choose to commute from Florence daily for a more luxurious hotel experience.

While there’s absolutely no pressure to purchase new outfits, we know some guests appreciate guidance!

Welcome Party:

Italian summer casual—think button-down shirts, linen pants, sundresses, and similar styles.

Wedding Day:

Semi-formal or cocktail attire. We’d love to see everyone dressed up and celebrating!

Pool Party & BBQ:

Relaxed attire that's comfortable and casual (and okay if it gets a bit flour-dusted during pasta-making!).

September in Tuscany is typically perfect, with cool evenings and warm, sunny days averaging between 59°F and 81°F. However, rain is always a possibility, so packing a light jacket or umbrella is recommended!

We’ll provide transportation from (and back to) the Florence Airport. Each guest group will receive a designated bus number and departure time between 1:30 PM and 4:00 PM. The journey to the venue takes approximately 45 minutes.

Absolutely! Just inform us of your travel plans in advance so we don’t hold the shuttle. Free parking is available on-site if you prefer to drive.

We kindly ask for an RSVP by July 15, 2025, to accommodate as many loved ones as possible. This RSVP will serve as your final confirmation and commitment to attend.
